Well, we had a really enjoyable and successful 2 days at the festival. Our aim on this occasion was to simply promote our Support Group and Prostate Cancer Awareness and I am sure all involved will agree that we achieved it. Apart from encouraging mums, dads, and grandparents to our stand, the children loved our free balloons and it was most gratifying to see children with our balloons all around the site; it wasn't quite a sea of purple but it was very noticeable…

The Summer Party will be on the front lawn/summer house at St John's and it is confirmed for the evening of Tuesday 3rd July. To take advantage of the weather (we hope!) the start time is brought forward to 5 pm. There will be drinks and a finger buffet. Given the probable difficulty in collecting in such a wide open space, we will not be collecting the usual £1 but will have a number of donation buckets available…
