Mary Kemble, Trustee |
After leaving school I worked at Wickman, G.E.C. and the Alvis where I left to have a family. On returning to work I worked at Coventry Technical College until my retirement. I have been involved with amateur theatre for over thirty years even treading the boards myself for about twenty. Due to age that has now come to an end. My hobbies include knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, family history and working in the garden. When my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he was guided to this self-help group. Due to family commitments, we were unable to go to some of the meetings but as things eased, we volunteered to join the committee and became trustees. This has helped me no end to support my husband and I feel I may be able to help support other wives or partners in the same position. |
Our next Prostate Health Awareness event will be held on Saturday 12th April at the Mary Forryan Centre, leicester Road, Hinckley, LE10 1LW. As usual we continue to use the Graham Fulford online booking system. As a result our events run smoothly with minimal queuing and adequate social distancing. See Coming Events for more detail.
