Thursday January 19th at 7:30 at Broadstreet RFC, Rugby Road, Binley Woods, Coventry. We are pleased to welcome Gary Lamb as our guest speaker at this meeting. Gary has been an active member of our group for over 4 years. He will give us a talk entitled “My battle with cancer”. This is about Gary’s diagnosis, treatment, and recovery from prostate cancer. Gary kept a diary during this time and it is this that will form the basis of his talk. He will cover how he got through this testing and emotional time, and those who helped him along the way. We feel his talk will prompt a deep and helpful discussion, especially among those still going through the process. As well as existing members, we extend a warm welcome to new members from UHCW and George Eliot Hospitals. Come and get answers to your questions. It’s also a chance to discuss personal experiences in a safe and friendly environment, and so new members are particularly welcome.
We will be available to welcome those attending from 7:15 pm onwards.
Our next Prostate Health Awareness event will be held on Saturday 28th February at Christ the KIng Parish Centre, 14 Westhill Road, Coundon, Coventry, CV6 2AA. As usual we continue to use the Graham Fulford online booking system. As a result our events run smoothly with minimal queuing and adequate social distancing. See Coming Events for more detail.
