PSA Testing Event at St Finbarrs - Saturday 7th March

St Finbarrs Sports and Social Club – Saturday 7th March.
This was the first of our quarterly events for 2020, and also the first of our events to use the new Online Booking and Results Service developed for the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust (GFCT). It was also our busiest ever event – we tested 140 men. A third of these men had booked beforehand and joined the short queue see the phlebotomists. The rest had to be registered on the online system - a process which took about 6 minutes per man. However, there were 6 of us doing the registering so the wait time was reasonable. Nevertheless, it was a very busy morning and our phlebotomists and volunteers, including Sam and Caitlin from the GFCT, worked extremely hard. It was a tremendous team effort and our thanks are due to all who made it such a success.
During the event John Slack, from the Bedworth Walking Football Club, made us a very generous donation of £100.
Our next Prostate Health Awareness event will be held on Saturday 28th February at Christ the KIng Parish Centre, 14 Westhill Road, Coundon, Coventry, CV6 2AA. As usual we continue to use the Graham Fulford online booking system. As a result our events run smoothly with minimal queuing and adequate social distancing. See Coming Events for more detail.
