PSA Testing Event at Windmill Sports & Social Club, Hartshill, Nuneaton

Saturday, 11th January 2020

Our recent awareness event on 11th January at the Windmill Sports and Social Club, Hartshill, Nuneaton was a great success. News of the event had spread throughout the local community by social media and by word of mouth. This resulted in an excellent response, and we tested 100 men. We were well hosted by Neil Price, club steward, and were delighted to welcome the MP for Nuneaton, Arley and Hartshill, Marcus Jones. This event raised awareness of the risks of prostate cancer among the local community, and of the need for regular PSA testing.

Thanks to Neil for his welcome hospitality and to all who worked so hard to ensure the smooth running of this testing session.

Our next event is at St Finbarrs Sports & Social Club, Holbrook Lane, Coventry on Saturday 7th March 2020, from 10:30 am to 13:00pm.

Prostate Health Awareness Events

Our next Prostate Health Awareness event will be held on Saturday 28th February at Christ the KIng Parish Centre, 14 Westhill Road, Coundon, Coventry, CV6 2AA. As usual we continue to use the Graham Fulford online booking system. As a result our events run smoothly with minimal queuing and adequate social distancing. See Coming Events for more detail.
