If your question isn't answered here, please contact the website administrator. If you have any suggestions for FAQs, please also email him.
How many users can we have?
You can have as many as you like; however, we recommend that you have as few as possible to ensure you maintain a consistent approach to your website. Please note that we can only accept instructions for adding users from your nominated contact with us.
Is it very technical?
It is as technical as using a word processing package like MS Word. So, you don't need any technical skills - just a computer and an internet connection! You should pick it up pretty quickly using our tutorials and practice. You can have a one-to-one session with our website administrator to introduce you to it or help you with anything you're struggling with.
Can we restrict users to certain parts of our website only?
No, all users can do everything.
Can we have our own domain name?
Yes. In fact we recommend that you do because the link that this system will give you won't be easy to remember. For instructions on how to do this, click here.
How do I link my domain name to my website?
Can we have Google Analytics?
Yes. Once you have signed up to Google Analytics, you will be given a tracking id which is in a format like UA-000000-2. On the main editing page, one of the tabs is called Analytics where you should key your Google Analytics tracking id.
How do I insert an email address as a link?
In the Link URL window, key in mailto: followed immediately by the email address eg to link to info@tackleprostate.org, key in mailto:info@tackleprostate.org.
How do I stop the line space being inserted when I press return in the editor?
Use SHIFT+RETURN (but note that this will not work if you have selected one of the Heading formats).
How can I stop text from wrapping?
There is an HTML icon on the top row of the editor. If you select that, your text will be displayed in the way that it is stored. Find the text that you don't want to wrap and insert where the space is eg stop text from wrapping would keep the words from and wrapping on the same line.
