Request from University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) to complete patient survey
Friday, 12th March 2021
University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) NHS Trust which covers the Queen Elizabeth, Good Hope, Solihull and Heartlands Hospitals are asking patients who have had a Radical Prostatectomy operation for prostate cancer within the last two years at any of the UHB hospitals to complete a survey which should take around 15-20 minutes to complete.
They are currently reviewing the information they share with patients who have undergone a Radical Prostatectomy operation for prostate cancer at University Hospitals Birmingham. The aim of this piece of work is to ensure that information shared with patients after their operation meets their individual needs. It is important that patients know what has been done during their operation, and what the follow up care and treatment will look like. They are also reviewing what information is shared in relation to potential or actual side effects of treatment; when this information is shared and how they can support patients to manage any related symptoms.
By completing this survey you are helping to improve the information and support future patients receive and we thank you for taking the time to help us with this.
