What do we do?
We organise monthly meetings on the last Tuesday of every month, from 5pm to 7pm.
Guest speakers are invited to present and answer questions on issues related to prostate cancer. For example, treatment decisions, managing side-effects, nutrition and continence advice. The meetings also provide an excellent opportunity for those affected by prostate cancer to talk and provide advice, information and support on how to live as well as possible with prostate cancer.
These meetings, together with the occasional social gathering, provide a venue at which informal contact can be made between individual patients faced with a future of living with prostate cancer.
Where do we meet?
Pre Covid-19 our group had meetings at Blythe House in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
However, since Covid-19 social restrictions were introduced, those face to face meetings have been replaced by a Zoom meeting.
If you would like to join the next meeting send a request to do so to hppcsg@gmail.com.
