As our members will be aware we have been keeping in contact during the last two years via Zoom meetings. Also, our PSA Awareness Events have been on hold. However, as restrictions eased in the latter part of 2021 we were able to resume PSA testing. We held two very successful events, one in Coventry, the other in Rugby. We have proved to all concerned that we are able to hold such events safely and with adequate social distancing. We also held out annual Christmas lunch at the Queens Head in Bretford – a most enjoyable event with 20 members and patrons.
Building on this and a general relaxing of restrictions, we now intend resuming our open meetings. Two meetings have been arranged for:
Thursday March 10th at 7:30 at Ambleside Community Sports Club, Nuneaton. A lot has happened over the last 2 years, so this meeting will be an informal gathering where we exchange news and views. It’s a chance to discuss personal experiences in a safe and friendly environment, and new members are most definitely welcome. Click here for more details - Ambleside.
Thursday April 28th at 7:30 at Coombe Social Club, Binley, Coventry. Our AGM will review 2021 and look towards the future. We are hoping for a good attendance so that we can have a lively discussion on future directions. As usual, there will be buffet refreshments. Copies of our Annual Report for 2021 will be sent to all members and posted to our website beforehand. As always, new members are most definitely welcome.

We have now held three very successful events since September last year. Our most recent event was on 12 March at the Coventry Sphinx Club. For all these events we used the GF online booking system. As a result they have run smoothly with minimal queuing and proper social distancing. Our next event will be held on 11 June at the Willenhall Social Club, Coventry - see Coming Events for more detail.
