Coventry & North Warwickshire PCSG - Open Meeting

Thursday January 19th at 7:30 at Broadstreet RFC, Rugby Road, Binley Woods, Coventry. We were delighted to welcome Gary Lamb as our guest speaker. Gary has been an active member of our group for over 4 years. His talk, entitled “My battle with cancer”, dealt with his diagnosis, treatment, and recovery from prostate cancer. It was based on the diary he kept, and covered how he got through this testing and emotional time, and those who helped him along the way. It was a very thoughtful, honest, and exemplary talk that prompted much discussion. Many thanks to Gary for a very worthwhile evening. The meeting was well attended and we were particularly pleased to welcome 3 new members and their wives.
Our next scheduled Prostate Health Awareness event will be on Saturday 13th March, 2027 at the Mary Forryan Centre, Leicester Road, Hinckley, LE10 1LW. As usual we continue to use the Graham Fulford online booking system. As a result our events run smoothly with minimal queuing and adequate social distancing.
