From a new treatment for breast cancer being approved, to understanding pancreatic cancer, there's lots to catch up on.

Latest research news: the stories we wanted to share before COVID-19 stole the headlines
NICE approve new immunotherapy treatment for breast cancer
Atezolizumab in combination with the chemotherapy drug nab-paclitaxel will be a new option for adults with triple negative breast cancer that’s spread to other parts of the body.
Clinical trial evidence suggests this treatment gives patients more time before their cancer gets significantly bigger and may help them live longer.

Within tumour cell DNA, there are many mutations that guide growth and make it difficult for the body to repair or destroy the tumour. But this doesn’t stop the body’s immune system from trying.
