Prostate Cancer Trial results should mean fewer hospital trips to have Radiotherapy
Friday, 5th August 2016
This is an article spotted on the Cancer Research UK website. It summarizes the results of the CHHiP trial which started recruiting men with localized Prostate Cancer in 2002. Since then over 3,000 men participated in the trial, being treated with a special kind of radiotherapy called IMRT - Intensity Modulated RadioTherapy.
The survey compared the results achieved by applying radiotherapy in larger or smaller doses. Click here to read more about the techniques used and conclusions reached on the CRUK website.
